Energy Research Talks Disentis 2025

from the 29nd to the 31th of January 2025

The annual Energy Research Talks Disentis are organised by the Alpine Energy Research Centre Foundation in collaboration with colleges, universities and research institutions. The Alpine Energy Research Centre Foundation AlpEnForCe, based in Disentis, was established to create, coordinate and disseminate knowledge for the benefit of the mountain cantons and other alpine regions and cooperates with national and international research institutions.

The Energy Research Talks Disentis provide a platform for knowledge transfer and qualified exchange between science, practice, politics and associations on current issues relating to energy in the Alpine region.

From January 29 to 31 2025 the 10th Disentis Energy Research Talks will take place. The event will focus on the challenges of the energy transition - especially with regard to the mountain region - as well as the transdisciplinary scientific exchange on energy issues among the participants. For Friday, a special stream with contributions from young researchers from the SWEET projects and a social get-together are planned for Friday.

Please submit your scientific contributions by 13.11.2025 using the template provided. Scientific contributions on all topics related to the energy transition are welcome as well as practical contributions that focus on problem solving and a discussion with the scientific community.

The conference language is German and English, with the public event on Thursday afternoon being held in German and the entire Friday will be held in English.
